Estate agents, and especially the big companies who tout themselves as being the pinnacle of the profession could learn a LOT from Fiona about how to treat people, how to show viewers around and how to treat the client and the viewers with courtesy, respect and sheer professionalism. Fiona provides a bespoke service, which is worth every penny. I had begun to loathe estate agents in general as they almost all have a pretty poor reputation and attitude. We have a very desirable and unique property and had a horrendous (possibly normal) experience with a well known Edinburgh agency who couldn't have done less, treated us like a transaction, where everything was our fault and every little thing was an add on. We had horrendous time wasters and no vetting. We terminated the contract with them after just over a week of being given the run around and our time wasted. That meant we had to get another agent and through word of mouth we met with Fiona. We hit it off straight away, and learned she came from a surveyors background and knew all about selling houses. It's worth noting that when you hit it off with someone, it's a good sign they will hit it off with viewers and potential buyers and that was exactly how it was with Fiona. She learned the house, planned her tour, did all the viewings, the brochures, and did all the vetting so we only had good prospective buyers. We would sit in the garden whilst she carried out the viewinga and it was clear, she was immediately likeable by everyone who viewed our property. Within an hour of our property going online, we had a full weekend of viewings and within a couple of days, decent offers followed by a closing date - all in the space of around 10 days.
